What Would I Do If I Were Rich?

Do not tell me you have never thought about this…I must admit though that I have not daydreamed about it as much as when I was a kid for some reason. But for the sake of exploring deeply into myself and actually trying to know “me”, I figured it would be fun to truthfully answer the question: “What would I do if I were rich?” And I do not mean in a modest kind of way, I mean: in all honesty. Here goes:

• I would travel. Without a doubt, I would pay for my sister, my parents, and my best friends to come with me. We would have the most amazing adventures in the most luxurious yet faraway lands. We would visit Madagascar for my sister, The Golden Bridge in Vietnam for my dad, and either Disneyland or an amazing zoo for my mom. And for my friends we would “go to” Italy, France, and Holland, just to name a few. As for myself, I would probably try to travel the whole world while vlogging it all in fun aesthetic youtube videos because of course I would have a super great vlogging camera…

• I would pay for my friend’s education, in whatever and wherever they would like to study I would cover their tuition.

• I would pay for a career as a photographer, videographer, writer, editor…(yeah like the reason I don’t become any of that is that I don’t have money LOL)

• I would forever be enrolled in a good ballet school and have the best equipment to practice with.

• I would certainly get a big house for my parents that I could also vacation in when free from my responsibilities and I would get a very cute, aesthetic, and cozy apartment on either a beach in Costa Rica, somewhere in the US, or in France.

• And in the interest of dreaming why not admit that I would build a big library/cinema where I could enjoy fiction and history to the fullest? Imagine how amazing that would be, depending on how big it was it would obviously be open to the public and we could all enjoy such an entertainment center.

• And since my living quarters will probably be huge enough, I would own not one but three Australian-Shepherd dogs. And a husky, a French Poodle, and possibly a Pug too. I adore dogs and this would probably be the one and only opportunity I would have of owning all my dream pets!

• I would probably and most likely get a makeover and redesign my wardrobe and get all the clothing collections from the cool brands, you name them! I’d have all the jewelry from Pandora and Kate Spade purses.

There you go, probably the most selfish thing you will read this week, and I am sure that is exactly the reason why God did not allow me to be rich or have lots of money because here I was keeping myself as honest as possible and though I could do a “Christian” version of this list and express my desire to build Christian schools, open churches in foreign countries, give homes to refugees all over the world ect, that would not be 100% honest, because ultimately what we all do is put “self” first. And thinking about it, all the above will be totally wasted once I am dead, once I no longer even have my body. All these wishes are terribly earthly, and I beg the Lord to have mercy on me and guide my sight towards Heaven, to what will “really last” FOREVER.
