Youtube has certainly become a very prominent platform in the past couple years. And with good reason, if you look intently into it you might discover people with an amazing talent for videography and video editing. Also, those who have the ability to be totally themselves before a camera and share their lives through the lenses.
I personally adore this hobby of filming and though I don't believe I poses the ability for any of the skills mentioned above I do love creating content and I needed a place to vent my ideas, occurrences, and pretty much anything interesting that happens because you never know who else might relate to that. It makes us feel more connected when we are not the only ones going through something.
As with everything else, I have staples I look up to for inspiration and ideas, and if you have never watched a lifestyle vlog you are in luck today because I am about to share my top 5 favorite aesthetic/lifestyle Youtube Channels. Just click on your favorite and enjoy!
Julia K Crist, was the first YouTuber I ever watched videos from. And I was hooked forever since the first video I clicked on. I believe I had seen a friend of mine post something about her on Instagram and I thought: "why not?". She has a way of creating amazing aesthetic content that makes you wish you were living her life (in a good sense), she has a cute french bulldog, lives in Indiana, and just got married! She films lots of Apple Product unboxings and her editing is simply the definition of aesthetic . Let me know what you think of her, I know you'll love her!
Lauryn Willkomm, I believe she followed Julia because she came up as a suggestion on Youtube. I love her too, her content is lifestyle focused and also being aesthetic. I think her style is a little more clean than Julia's but still pretty aesthetic as well. She used to film college videos, but now she is graduated, got married, and is expecting a baby boy! It is so cool I got to live alongside her and see her evolve into such an amazing and successful woman. Also, I believe she is a Christian, though she does not talk about it in her vlogs she has mentioned it once or twice so I am thrilled we share the same faith too!
Ashley Hetherington very recently stumbled upon her actually! And I immediately adored her! She is super fun and lively in front of the camera and I love her main focus of conversation is Jesus, even when she films "days in my life" type videos she always makes sure to let her audience know about the thoughts on her heart and share the LIGHT OF JESUS. An amazing example and I aspire to be like her. Also, worth mentioning her editing is really aesthetic and upbeat too!
Fernanda Ramirez, must say she is quite a character. And has outdone herself with her videos. All the above channels I have mentioned are really really entertaining, but now and again you feel they edit out stuff you would have wanted to see like they don't really show you ALL they do. Well, this girl is rarely like that. If she says she will go shopping she takes you shopping. Super true to her fans and her editing is fantastic. So good she recently hit 1M subscribers on Youtube! Should I even say more? A few things I am not a fan of is that she is definitely not a Christian and is always talking about astrology and zodiac signs and stuff like that which I obviously do not agree with but I am praying God may show her the way one way or another. Still a very cheerful person and an amazing content creator.
Kiara Madisen, is also a very recent find, but so naturally herself it is impossible not to like her. She recently graduated from nursing school and her channel focuses a lot on her studies and college content. But she does apartment makeovers too and goes on fun adventures. Needless to say, her editing is super cute and aesthetic as well and certainly an inspiration of hard work and dedication.
There it is, my top 5, and there are some others out there I really like and will eventually watch too but these are my go-to every time I am bored or need some inspiration or ideas. This platform can certainly be a door for encouragement for all of us if we appreciate it correctly. There is so much effort put behind a youtube video you would not guess it unless you tried doing it yourself (is that a challenge? JK).
If you found this list helpful make sure to subscribe to these channels and help out these girls and if you want you can also check out my own channel and share ideas for me to improve it!
God loves you,
Dear Ordinary Caro
