My Idea of an IDEAL Day

Don't we all wish every day could be perfect? But like really perfect in every aspect: emotionally, physically, socially, weather-wise, etc. Thus, the reason for the wording of my title where I chose the word "Ideal" rather than "Perfect". Because if you think about it there are no fully perfect days in the real world, but surely we can make the best out of what we are given. As the Psalms says: “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24), He has given us each day as a gift and it is up to us to make the best out of them all. So I was thinking about what that ideal day would look like for me, just because I want to try to live up to it. So, without further ado, here it is:
Wake up to a sunny morning (not too early or late), and lay in bed for a bit, and read a book.
After making my bed and making sure my room is clean and neat I would head to the kitchen and prepare my favorite breakfast: an oatmeal bowl with peanut butter, chia seeds, dried cranberries, honey, and cinnamon.
Later on, I would get into the shower and take a long warm bath, wash my hair with the correct products and then get on my favorite skincare routine and blow dry my hair.
Ideally, I would know how to drive so I would take my car to a nice coffee shop (most likely a Starbucks), get an iced coffee, and sit down to do some work.
My work would be editing a video or writing an interesting blog, preparing content for social media, or just editing photographs
Once I completed a satisfactory amount of work I would pick up my best friend and my sister and we would go to a park, sit at an outside picnic table, and have a small Bible Journaling session.
After a fulfilling time with the Lord and my friends, we would go to a nearby mall or store center, and window shop, chat, and hang out.
For dinner, I would return to my house with my sister (after dropping off my best friend at her house) and we will have mac&cheese while watching a stupid sitcom like "The Big Bang Theory" and laugh at the bad jokes.
I would then follow my favorite night routine where I do a little bit of "bedtime yoga", take a quick refreshing shower, apply skincare products again, set my diffuser with Lavender oil, and get comfortable in bed with the book I read in the morning, I would not even check my phone after that and just immerse myself into the story.
But after I am done with my reading, I would put it away, turn on the "star projector" lamp in my room, get my prayer list and pour out my soul before God and have a long good chat with Him about all my happiness, thankfulness, ailments, heartaches, etc. That right there would be the end of an ideal day, leaving it all in His hands because if not my mind will take over and will rob me of the peace He has already granted me.
I really wish all my days went this way, and it would probably be more likely to happen on a weekend day but even if I had to work I would love the character to remain consistent in a routine, especially keeping a daily appointment in chatting with Jesus and laying before Him my burdens. As you are probably thinking, "this type of day does not sound that much out of the ordinary", in fact, you probably do this every day yourself! But I just wish I could maintain it there, nothing different. And that is where I have to relinquish control to my Father because He allows my days to be different and bring challenges so I can look up to Him for help and guidance, ALL THE TIME.

God loves you ;)
