Ideas For Friday Night Blasts

Most of us know that feeling: Friday afternoon, right after work. That is when the magic happens because that is in fact when the sense of freedom settles in. And we do not want to waste a single second of that precious time that will be over in the blink of an eye. So, here are some of my favorite go-to's for a refreshing and relaxing Friday night.

1. Out to dinner at your favorite restaurant. You will get to dress up, hang out with friends, and delight yourself in the taste of your favorite foods (...Italian, sushi, you know the drill)

2. Treat yourself to some window shopping. It is refreshing and entertaining to the eyes to walk through stores and refocus on the reason why you work: to buy your dreams. I am just kidding of course, but personally, window shopping is one of my favorite activities to do once in a while.

3. Buy your favorite snacks for the night. Here is a simple list: candy, popcorn, cookies/pop-tarts, and chips. Just remember to have tons of water with you so you don't get a terrible belly ache.

4. Arrange all these items. Make sure your room or apartment looks cozy. Organize the food, a place to seat for everyone, put out some board games, and even pick out music to set the vibe.
5. Choose a movie or series to finish the night. Your "watch lists" from your streaming platforms can be a great place to start. I usually choose something depending on my mood that night, and most of the time I end up choosing a comedy or romance movie.
6. Lastly, grab a bowl of candy and popcorn each, turn off the lights, and just snuggle with your besties.
The mere act of typing this out makes me crave for a really fun Friday night. After working hard all week we all deserve a break and beginning the weekend with a late Friday night is just the thing to do.
