Stationery Favorites You MUST Have

I was never big in creative crafts and art classes at school, but for some reason in the last couple of years I have been more and more drawn to them (thanks pandemic). And as with everything in my OCD-guided life, I needed to get the correct tools to "perform my art" with. So after a lot of research, I found the basic tools (STATIONERY) you need to either begin your Bullet Journaling, Bible Journaling, or just Lettering journey. I did the research for you so all you have to do is scroll through and if your eye catches something to its liking just gotta click the link! (Nothing is sponsored, I am just saying.)

  • outlining pens and pencils: there ain't nothing more annoying than using a pen that leaves blank spots in the tracing just because the tip does not roll well or the ink is too dry...having a steady, smooth pen is a game changer and my favorite style is the PaperMate brand, especially the gel pens called InkJoy and the affordable Prismacolor brand of "sketching" pens. This can be used for anything you like, whether it be Bullet Journaling, taking notes in your Bible, or just scribbling out your shopping list they are phenomenal!

  • highlighters: whatever you do, do it with color! I adore making things look bright and welcoming; the best way to do that is obviously highlighter markers. As I am sure you have heard the Zebra Mildliners are just the thing for this. They come in many different colors and tip shapes vary too. If you are looking for something even a little brighter than that (maybe to highlight textbooks) then the Stabilo brand (the BOSS Original style) has just the thing for you. If it weren't for this I would never find the motivation to study!

  • calligraphy pens: I am not an artist and you don't have to be either to collect these amazing tools. Stationery is for everyone, and though some might use it more than others, we all enjoy a good set of calligraphy pens. My personal favorites are a bit scattered around and I might just dedicate a whole blog just for this section next week, but for now, I can totally recommend the Tombow Dual brand in the "brush pen" tip, or any Faber-Castell or PaperMate brands in "ultra-fine" tip style.

  • washi tapes and stickers: in my humble opinion: stationery is not only pens and ink, it can also include decorative tapes, stickers, construction paper, etc. And honestly, it is quite easy to find these types of things anywhere, here are some of my favorites and most affordable ones. When I am thinking straight (and I want to be wise in spending money), I will figure out the color theme of the project I am working on. That way you will have uniformity and you won't run the risk of having extra stuff that does not match your color palette for that particular project.

There you go, at least you have a steady basic list, to begin stacking up with the best stationery and if you find something better certainly notify me 'cause I am in need of any excuse to spend more money on this.

God loves you ;)

Dear Ordinary Caro
